almost honest

Only 12 minutes in and CSI: Miami has already made me cry. The red-haired boyfriend killed me. Killed me, I say. I love and adore him. DC did an amazing job with that opening sequence. Sigh.

And on an amazingly happy note, the first team of climbers climbing Mt. Everest made it to the summit within the last hour and a half. They are literally on top of the world. This is such awesome news, and I am so so proud to have been following this incredible journey. I'm in tears watching the YouTube clip. So proud.

Oy. Back to the red-haired boyfriend. He better not make me cry more. Heh.

Guh. That is all I can say about TV Guide and their Top 12 sexiest men. First, I turn to one page and there is the ever gorgeous Carmine Giovinazzo, and I flip to the next page, and there's Jesse Spencer. So silly me, I figure how can it get any better? Oh but wait, I flip a couple more pages, and bam, there's Michael Weatherly. Dear lord. I'm dead from the pretty.

I still haven't taken the time to play with my new digital camera and install the software onto my laptop. Heh. I really need to do that.

I love reading all these articles about Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban getting married this weekend. It makes me so happy. I actually got a bit teary-eyed when I read their joint statement about going home to Australia to have their wedding. Oh, my heart is so happy for them. Hee.

I'm stuck on The Wreckers' "Stand Still, Look Pretty" CD, man. I've listened to it constantly, along with the Dixie Chicks album. So much good music again lately.

Speaking of music, I'm so excited to see Rascal Flatts next month. Sekrit shoutout to brightillusions, don't forget to get that night off, yo! I'm not going to see those boys by myself, dang it. *g*

Of course, I am also psyched for Michael Buble. Yay!

Ugh. I'm exhausted, and I know I should go to bed early, but CBS loves me and is showing CSI: Miami's "Driven" tonight, and I can't resist seeing the beginnings of Horatio and MArisol again. Gosh, I need to write my series. Seriously. However, my prompts for fic_variations come first, and I have four more stories to write before July 1st. Meep. I need to get cracking. Because, yes.

Off to read new fics before my red-haired boyfriend comes on in an hour and 20 minutes. Whee.
