Well, bullet point post, if you will. With expanded notes. Ha.

*Loving Twitter. Totally made a reply to Barry Zito tonight. Um. Love. Am over there as heartisopen if anyone wants to add me! But the Twitter thing is kind of amusing!

*Loving baseball this season. My boys came from behind in the 9th to win tonight. Little Panda hit a 3-run homer to win it. I do heart the Pablo. We're only 3 games back now. Bite me, Dodgers! (and on that same note, bite me, Casey Blake. Jerk. Don't even mess with my B. Wilson.) And my Timmeh! Wearing pink accented spikes on Mother's Day. Undying devotion. No, really. Loooooove.

*Movies! The parents and I went to see Star Trek on Sunday. Absolutely LOVED it. I never watched the show(s) as a kid, but dear lord, this movie rocked. Plus, Chris Pine is way hot--guh. And the adorable-ness that is Chris and Zachary Quinto in every freakin' interview they do together makes me grin like crazy. In addition: two words--Karl Urban. I love him to little tiny pieces. He is still awesome. Makes me miss the LotR days, though!

*TV! My red-haired boyfriend made me a bit teary on Monday. DC still rocks. CSI: NY will likely make me cry this week if what I think happens happens! NCIS is love, and Tony owns me. Really.

*Music: Completely in love with Luke Bryan's new single "Do I". Co-written by Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, and backup vocal by Hillary Scott (all of Lady Antebellum). Also adoring the new duet from Josh Kelley and Ryan Cabrera: "Tell It Like It Is". And on the Keith Urban front, rumor has it that the possible next single is "'Til Summer Comes Around". I will squeal for DAYS if this ends up being true. Best song on the album, I tell you! So much good music lately--I love new music to add to Timmy the Pod.

*Work. Work is good. I'm really tired, but things are good. DD visit next week and we're brushing up on visuals. I am struggling a bit on the visual standard front, but I think it'll be resolved soon. Otherwise, business is good and I am simply enjoying where I am. I'm so much more at ease--something I probably haven't felt in a year or so.

*Writing. Writing is decent. I've kind of gotten away from the novel in the last few weeks or so, but I am gradually getting back into the groove on that. I am puttering on little baseball snippets still, and trying to write the beginning of the Tony/Hannah relationship. Also the beginning of the DiNozzo family and how Horatio Caine comes into play there. Heh. He is godfather to their son and daughter, after all. *ponders* Am also going through celeb photos, rearranging my cast list for the novel and adding a few photos to go with names. I think I'm actually considering recasting my lead male character (currently cast as Dave Annable from Brothers and Sisters). I probably won't actually go through with it, but I like to have the options!

*Misc. Things: Am looking to switch phone plans. I am most likely going to switch to Sprint in the next couple of weeks. I can get on my dad's plan from his work and save some money on the bill. I just have to pick a new phone and that is a major challenge. I may go for the Blackberry, but we shall see. I get so indecisive. Heh. May pick the Palm Treo or the Instinct. It'll be weird not using AT&T for my cell, that's for sure.

Going to bed soon. Really I am. I might actually sleep in tomorrow morning, since I have the day off. Or I'll be up early, because my brain starts waking up at like, 7 am. Not cool.

Good night.

When you see this, post in your own journal with your favorite quote from The Princess Bride. Preferably not "As you wish" or the Inigo Montoya speech.

I couldn't pick just one. heh.

Miracle Max: Get back, witch.
Valerie: I'm not a witch, I'm your wife. But after what you just said, I'm not even sure I want to be that any more.

AND:

Miracle Max: Have fun storming the castle!
Valerie: (waving) Bye bye, boys!

I am freakin' free! I'm officially on vacation until next Sunday. Dad and I leave for two days at Disneyland on Tuesday morning, and I am beyond excited. I've been packing tonight and thinking of other things I need to get tomorrow. But then, Tuesday and Wednesday are full days at Disneyland and we'll head home on Thursday morning, I would guess. Note to self: go to the ATM and get money! Meep.

Worked a half day today and after work, I went to Target to get a gift for my "niece" Charlotte's birthday. The dad ended up calling and we decided to go see "The Dark Knight". We ended up having to go to a later matinee (as it was packed!) and so we went to dinner first. Then, the movie. Dear lord, it was awesome. Just--freakin' amazing. I'm still all "..." over it. Gah. Want to see it again--badly.

Spent the evening doing laundry and adding a few new songs to H the iPod. [livejournal.com profile] brightillusions will be proud that I finally added some Vince to the mix. Heh.

Dad's taking Sam the Saturn in for an oil change tomorrow, and I'll be at Target and Best Buy at some point. Am going to attempt to find an iPod adapter for my car. If not, at least we'll have my XM radio. Haha. Of course, I'm sure I have CD's in the car. I know Lady A is in there, and Keith Urban, naturally.

Also need to make sure I have my book in my bag somewhere. I'm currently on book 7 of Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files. I adore Harry--and Bob, of course. My mom got me hooked on this series, and we're plowing through them. I need to make sure to take book 8 with me too.

So many things running through my head right now. Am glad to be free from work, but at the same time, this will be my first week of not being involved with the business since we opened and I'm a bit freaked out. I know that my team will be fine, but gah, it's nervewracking at the same time!

Bed now, I suppose. Maybe. Good night.
