Oy, I love that man to itty bitty pieces. If I were more coherent, I'd post a longer entry. But for now, I'll just say that Keith is beyond amazing, Sugarland rocked, and I ended up sitting third row center with my dad.

Plus, I didn't cry at this show. Heh. There's a major feat, let me tell you.

Meep. Lovelovelove my Keith. What an amazing show he puts on.

Went out early this morning to pick up my beloved Keith Urban's new album "Defying Gravity". It's yet another phenomenal CD, and I love every darn song. I am beyond proud to be a fan. And speaking of Keith, the dad and I are going to see Keith on July 17th, with Sugarland as the opening act. I scored floor seats yet again, even closer to the stage than the last time! Color me excited!!

Sam the Saturn getting broken into two weeks ago issue was taken care of quickly, thank goodness. They did steal my Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum CD's, but I have replaced those. They also stole my work tote bag and work binder, so I hope they are sorely disappointed by the lack of loot in there. Haha. Unfortunately, that also meant I had to redo said binder, but I had a lot of it memorized so it didn't take as long. Summer (the boss) gave me a hard time for redoing it. Hee. It made her laugh. What can I say--I'm a bit of a geek.

Have been blogging the Giants on MLB.com. My blog is here: Well Played!" if anyone wants to read. I enjoy writing the blogs, and my parents are amused by my writing style, for some odd reason. Heh.

Speaking of writing, the [livejournal.com profile] getyourwordsout challenge is still going fantastic. I hit my word count goal for the third month in a row, and I've written over 50,000 words this year so far! I'm just so happy writing again. The novel is moving along and I've also written a couple of more fics and scenes for the Reasons Why 'verse. And some of the new KU music is triggering the Tony/Hannah muse. Yay!

Have also been attempting to knit, along with continuing my felt projects. The mom got me a Knifty Knitter (hahaha) and I am attempting to make a scarf on the thing. So far, so good.

Got to visit with [livejournal.com profile] brightillusions on Sunday evening, which was nice. I hadn't seen her in a while and we got to talk and such. Had a good time. I've missed her.

Am off to be productive, which means off to color my hair (which I had cut this morning after my Target run) and listen to "Defying Gravity" again.

Have a good day!

Yay!

I've been off and on sick/allergy-ish for the past week. Ended up leaving work early on Tuesday and spending most of the afternoon at urgent care. Ended up with three prescriptions for allergies/sinus infection. I've been on antibiotics and a steroid (haha, it's a good thing I don't play professional baseball! ;)) for the past couple of days and a cough medicine and nose spray as well. So yeah, fun week. Things are slowly getting better, but I have a good week and a half left of meds, so I am sticking with it. This allergy season has been seriously kicking my butt!

Work is good. I continue to say how freakin' happy I am again and I am so serious. Love. I have snarky, fun coworkers who I can really relate to and have fun at work with, and that makes all the difference in the world!

Am planning to take a couple of days off in July to go to Paso Robles for the Mid-State Fair. Lady Antebellum is doing two shows on the 27th--free with the paid fair admission, and I am so going. I may end up going by myself, but who cares! It's Lady A, and I can't pass them up. Heh.

Writing went very well again this month. Beat my spreadsheet goal by about 2,000 words, and the actual goal through [livejournal.com profile] getyourwordsout by about 1000 words. I am loving this challenge still, and I have about 46 pages written for the novel, and am still puttering along on Reasons Why as well. In the past two months, I've written over 34,000 words and it feels incredibly good. I feel productive and happy with writing again.

Work tomorrow 10-6:30, then spending the evening and Sunday with the parents. I haven't seen them much in the past week or so because of my schedule and my being sick. Went to the house today because Mom had scrapbooking stuff for me, and I'd burned a CD for her.

Went to JoAnn's today and bought felt for my newest little craft projects. I've had the urge to sew lately, so I'm making little felt hearts, stars, and flowers. I may send them out to people, but we shall see about that.

ESPN the Magazine has my Timmy on the cover this week, and I'm so proud. He's going to be phenomenal this year, and he's going to finally get the recognition he deserves. Granted, he's got a Cy Young award already, btut we want another one, damn it! Heee!

Off to bed now. Have to still wake up early to take meds and get ready for work. Woohoo.

Good night!

ick.

So [livejournal.com profile] brightillusions and our friend Jess went to the Kiss Country $5 Concert tonight at Woodward Park.

Heidi Newfield was awesome, and sounded great. The crowd liked her a lot, and she had family in the audience. Some cousins are going to Fresno State, apparently. Unforunately, it took an hour before she came on between her and the opening opening act. Haha. People were restless.

Then Lady Antebellum came on, and Hillary, Dave, and Charles were absolutely fantastic. They did:
Looking For A Good Time
All We'd Ever Need
Slow Down Sister
Love's Looking Good On You
Things People Say
Home Is Where The Heart Is
A Woman Scorned
Long Train Runnin'
Love Don't Live Here

So awesome. The crowd stood and sang along with LDLH, and they were so tickled. All three of them were so adorable, and I think my dad got some really great pictures with this fancy school camera. I also got some great audio recorded on my phone. We left right before Keith Anderson came out, but we had fun.

Hee. I am so happy tonight. Yay!

Oh, Michael Buble was absolutely amazing. As always. He was gorgeous and witty and sang fabulous, despite being obviously sick. My mom and her best friend and I had an awesome time, and I can't wait until he comes back again.

And I only cried once--during "Home". I swear. He did "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and "Song For You"...I was psyched!

I'm going to sleep now. Or not. Am out at the parents crashing for the night.

Oh, Buble...you so rock. Whee!

Three things that I LOVE right now:

1) Writing. The muse is back, and I am beyond grateful. posted my first fic in months at [livejournal.com profile] fic_variations yesterday. Woohoo! I think I may have written most of my second one on my lunch hour at work today. Hee. The muse is back and kicking my butt. Yippee!

2)Brothers and Sisters. OMG. Meep. I cried at tonight's ep, for varying reasons. Without revealing anything--I so love Kevin Walker. Oh good lord. Love, love, LOVE!

3)New music and concerts. I've been listening to Lady A constantly, and they are just so good. Am glad iTunes put "Emily" up for individual sale, because I snapped that sucker up. Also stuck on David Nail and his version of "I'm About To Come Alive", and the new version of Maroon 5's "If I Never See Your Face Again" with Rihanna. Love. It. And on the concert front, I found out the first $5 Concert with Kiss Country is May 14th, with Keith Anderson, Lady Antebellum (eeeeee!!), and Heidi Newfield. Woohoo. Jane, Jess, and my dad are all over that. Otherwise, I see Michael Buble on Tuesday, and I am so excited!

There's so much else that I love right now too, but hey. *g*

Off to bed. Work 8-5 and then I am freeee for two days. Hallelujah. I'm so exhausted. As is my brain. Haha.

Good night.
