...that have made me very happy over the last few hours:

1) CSI: Miami. Oh, show. Love. Undying devotion to my red-haired boyfriend, I tell you. And that H called Ray "Dr. Ray". And that Langston called Calleigh "Miss Calleigh". I am SO loving this crossover! Can't wait for NY and Vegas this week. I really loved David and Lawrence together...you can really see their longtime friendship in the performances!

2) iTunes finally putting up Jimmy Wayne's amazing cover of "Sara Smile". Oy. He is freakin' incredible, and having Hall and Oates on the cover version is so cool. Daryl Hall says that JW's version is the best cover version he's ever heard. What a compliment!

3) New LJ friends! *waves* I swear I'll do an 'about me' post sometime soon. =) But in the meantime...welcome to my fangirl-ish life!

4) Realizing that three of my favorite boys will be in my life on the same day next week. Haha. Not only do I get John Mayer's new album "Battle Studies", but I get my Chris and Zach and "Star Trek" on the 17th! YAY! Going to be a terrific day.

5) Started a new writing blog on Wordpress. We'll see how far I get. Heh.

That is all. Bed now. Work at 11 am. We have a DD visit---am slightly nervous, but all will be good!

Good night!

Only 12 minutes in and CSI: Miami has already made me cry. The red-haired boyfriend killed me. Killed me, I say. I love and adore him. DC did an amazing job with that opening sequence. Sigh.

And on an amazingly happy note, the first team of climbers climbing Mt. Everest made it to the summit within the last hour and a half. They are literally on top of the world. This is such awesome news, and I am so so proud to have been following this incredible journey. I'm in tears watching the YouTube clip. So proud.

Oy. Back to the red-haired boyfriend. He better not make me cry more. Heh.

Eeee! YAY!

First off, the trip to Oregon went well. Still exhausted, but it was fun and it was nice being with one of my dearest friends. We looked at 35 houses for Rach and her family in a span of 12 hours. Go us. Accomplished. We made awesome time driving up to Portland on Friday and back to home on Sunday. We were oddly proud of ourselves. Needless to say, we were sitting for the entire dang weekend. Fun times. Heh.

Second--CSI: Miami made me cry tonight. Oh with the love for the 150th episode of my beloved show. And the red-haired boyfriend was fan-freakin'-tastic tonight. Gah.

The ultimate point of this post is to respond to a meme. [livejournal.com profile] goddess_loki gave me seven interests to explain, so I shall do so. Heh.

bradley whitford: Ahh, my dear Brad Whitford. I fell in love with him on The West Wing, and will watch him on pretty much anything. I want him back on my TV, thankyouverymuch.

cresty: Oh man, my Cresty. One of the original fake!boyfriends. Most who have been here with me for a good amount of time know the undying devotion I have for Ryan Seacrest. And yes, it is still going. I love the man. And here's why. I think he's freakin' brilliant. I truly believe he is one of the true entertainment moguls. I respect him for always knowing who his guests are and what they do. He never fails to research and I love that. My dear Cresty!

hobbits: Hobbitses! I am a huge LotR fan and I love me some hobbits. That, and if I leave my hair curly and due to my vertically challenges self, I tend to look like one. Geez. ;)

joaquin phoenix: I'm a big Joaquin Phoenix fan. Of course, he's a little crazy now, but that's okay. He's amazing in Gladiator, I loved him in Signs and The Village, and he's brilliant in Walk The Line. Love the Wok. (hahaha to those who get that!) I think he really is oddly underrated.

lady antebellum: Lady A! My favorite new country group. I was a fan of Charles Kelley for quite a while already, but when he and Dave Haywood and Hillary Scott got together, it just made it better. This group is going to be huge, and I am a proud, proud fan. I encourage anyone who likes country music to give Lady A a shot, because they're awesome.

song lyrics: I have a thing for song lyrics. I tend to memorize songs very quickly (usually after one time hearing it--sometimes twice), and then I go hunting for the lyrics. I'll print them or scribble them into one of my many notebooks. I love song lyrics and love the stories most of them have.

veggietales Haha. I love the VeggieTales. I have a little stuffed Bob the Tomato and a Larry the Cucumber, and a Junior Asparagus. I also have a talking Larry keychain, and a big plastic Bob and Silly Songs with Larry on CD. I think they're just so cute.

I go to bed now. Hoping to get a very important phone call today. Crossing my fingers!

My red-haired boyfriend is BACK! Wheeeee! I loved the new ep of Miami, and I cannot wait until next week--TWO nights. Yippee. But oh, the love. And for the record, 12 minutes into the ep, I was already crying. Damned TV shows. Sob. But he had tears! Tears, I say. Sigh.

Anyway. Stole a meme from [livejournal.com profile] niseag03...

It's Miami night! Wheeee! I've been waiting very impatiently for this night for a while now. Eeeeee! The red-haired boyfriend is back on my TV in two hours and 8 minutes. Meep. So excited. I may or may not be bouncing.

I've been very moody the last day or so. Work is stressful and emotional right now. I cried a lot yesterday (and it wasn't just because I made the mistake of watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition last night either). I hate feeling the way I do right now, but I also know everyone has these moments where you just want to break down, cry, and be mad for awhile. I just don't understand why certain people that I care about can't let me just be mad for a bit. Maybe I don't want comfort or to talk about it, and yet I get made to. It's frustrating. Today was better, despite a growing work situation. The crazy co-worker is just that--crazy. And I mean literally. I fully believe she is insane. [livejournal.com profile] brightillusions can back me up on that. Sheesh. But hopewfully that whole thing will be taken care of very soon.

Hiring for my store is going well. I have three interviews lined up tomorrow, and two inductions in the next two days, so things are going well. The big signs are up at the store, and I need to go take some more photos. If I get a chance, I'll post the photos of the construction somewhere along the line.

I'm utterly addicted to Pat Monahan's solo album. "Last of Seven" is dynamite. I'm a very proud fan. The songs are fantastic, and there isn't one I don't like. "Pirate On The Run", "Ripple In The Water" and "Always Midnight" are my favorites, though. "Her Eyes" is so another version of Meet Virginia, and it makes me laugh.

I've been puttering on my Reasons Why 'verse again lately. I'm in the middle of writing college!Tony and Hannah at Christmastime at her family's home in Michigan. (I'm still debating if that is where she is from. I wanted somewhere cold and snowy for the winter, but we'll see if I change that or not). I need to go through the ledger my mom gave me and see what other fics I can play with. I still want to write one when Tony tells Hannah he loves her for the first time, and one when Tony gets hurt playing football. I wrote a snippet not long ago set in Season 1 when Kate meets Hannah for the first time. I need to finish that one, because she wonders how they even get along. Heh. It makes me smile.

On other writing fronts, I've finally come up with a character name for one of my main characters. He's a singer/songwriter touring with my main character's sister, who's also a singer. The singing sister now is the only one I need to come up with a name for, and it's got to fit with their last name, which is Bennett. Ava is the main character, and her sister's name is blank right now. I'll come up with something.

Found "That Thing You Do!", the special edition, on DVD at Best Buy the other day. That is absolutely one of my favorite movies. It makes me laugh AND cry. It's so awesome to have that one in my collection now. I've had the soundtrack for like, five years and only a copy of the movie on VHS, and now, a DVD. Yay!

Off to be anxious for Miami in an hour and 45 minutes. I've got popcorn and my bright pink CSI: Miami pillow that my best friend [livejournal.com profile] bookofdays gave me.

Good night!

Yayness! I'm probably in the minority, but I loved tonight's CSI: Miami finale. Loved it. Would ramble about it, but I think I need to watch it again to form more clear thoughts. All I can say is I LOVE Horatio Caine to itty bitty pieces. Meep. And the kinda sorta flashback to Rio, in a way. PLUS, this year, I didn't bawl like a baby. I still miss Marisol, though. Sob. I can't wait for S5 on DVD!

Now comes the CSI: NY finale on Wednesday. I'm so excited. Will be flipping between Grey's Anatomy and Supernatural finales on Thursday. Am missing the series finale of Gilmore Girls tomorrow night, and I'm extremely bummed about that. The Brothers & Sisters finale is next Sunday, and I am fully prepared to weep. I cried at last night's ep like crazy, and it was mostly from the use of Rob Thomas' "Now Comes The Night". Sheesh. Killed me dead. NCIS finale in a week or so as well.

My brain so wants to write, and my fingers just can't form the words. It's getting rather frustrating. There's so many projects I want to work on, specifically my Horatio/Marisol series and my Tony/Hannah series. Along with the NCIS/Supernatural crossover. Rar. The muse seriously needs to cooperate! I even treated myself to a gorgeous new notebook at Anthropologie on Sunday, and it hasn't even been written in yet. Sigh. I don't know what's wrong with me. Writing is the one thing that's been constant in my life since like, third grade. And now? Age 25 and the writer's block is hitting me hardcore. Just once, I'd like to discipline myself to get through plotting/outlining and writing a freakin' novel. Grr. I'll probably be 55 before THAT happens.

I digress. I'm still on a finale high right now. Woohoo! Bed now, I suppose.

23 days until John Mayer concert!
30 days until Keith Urban concert!

Good night!!

Weh?

ignore my own silly irritated ramblings...S5 spoilers abound!! )

Bed now. Back to work at 1 pm tomorrow! This vacation has been very nice. But my brain is now overthinking things. I need to stop that. Good night!
