So really, I was overly pleased about the Emmys tonight. Hugh Laurie was absolutely adorable, and Brad Whitford and Matthew Perry made me giggle madly, as did Martin Sheen onstage with his son Charlie. Allison Janney looked gorgeous as usual. Some of the overall winners made me go "huh?!" a few times, but oh well. Yay for Alan Alda, though. Was pleased about that.

I am so not ashamed that I burst into tears during the In Memoriam segment, when John Spencer appeared on the screen. Freakin' bawled, man. Sheesh. Even though I knew they'd have to show him, it still hurt. Gah.

And randomly? I am rather tickled that ABC is using Rob Thomas' "Streetcorner Symphony" as one of their theme songs. So awesome.

Listened to the stream of John Mayer's new album "Continuum", and I'm in love. I can't wait to get my CD in a week or so, as my mom pre-ordered two copies through Local-83, along with the fan package, so yay, way excited for that! Mayer concert is in a month too! Hooray!

Also am addicted to the new Keith Urban song. "Once In A Lifetime" is awesome, and he sounds so good and so happy. I love that.

Have officially named the new computer Leo now. I couldn't not name it that, although naming it Flack came very, very close. Heh.

Work is a bit stressful again, and our asst. manager is still incompetent. I really don't know how much longer I can take working with her, and I hate saying that. I know I need to suck it up a bit more, but it's hard to deal with people who have no idea what they are doing even after countless hours of coaching and teaching and telling, for the love of everything holy!

Gah. I need to digress again. Sigh. I'm off to be productive or something. I've had a litt;e Josh/Sam friendship drabble thing in my head for the past couple of days--post S4's "Red Haven's On Fire". Huh.

Good night.
