bookofdays in a text this afternoon, I think I may have the beginning of a real novel started. I bought yet another new notebook the other day at Barnes and Noble, and at about 11 pm last night, I had the urge to just scribble in it, and I actually wrote about two full handwritten pages in it. I think I have a short prologue done, and the start of a first chapter begun. The plot has been in my head for at least three, if not four or five years, and I've had characters lightly fleshed out, but now, it seems to be coming together. It's a crime novel, with a full on murder and crime scene team.
The entire thing both scares me and thrills me at the same time. I have got to freakin' do this, or I'll never know if I could have. Somewhere deep down, I think I have some talent for it,. but it's the actual execution that I am unsure of.
I may end up doing a filter for the rambling about this project, which at the moment, is titled Imperceptible, but we'll see how long that lasts. I may do a filter so you poor people don't get bored.
Oy. Bed now. Back to work at 8 am. Gonna be a long weekend, as store is doing an additional 40% off sale. Meep.
