Still in love with David Nail's "Red Light". And am so proud that it's going up the charts right now. I can't wait until the album ("I'm About To Come Alive") comes out next month!

Work is--really good. We've been dealing with some news the past couple of weeks that has got us all a bit unnerved, and yet so hopeful. So far, the news is very, very good and we are remaining positive about it all. Plus, we had an amazing month of June business wise. Heh. We worked our butts off for it, that's for sure. But I seriously love all my co-workers and never fail to laugh and enjoy my job. It's nice. In fact, today, co-worker Tom and I were talking baseball. We like to give each other a hard time because I am a Giants fan and he is a Dodger (EVIL!) fan. And just--all of them--they're so fantastic. But we're all hoping for the final word to come down as to what is going on in the next few weeks.

And on another old work front, karma still continues to work in fantastic ways. And I may or may not have gloated just a bit when I got the news. Heh. I cannot confirm nor deny it. Really.

Then! Speaking of the Giants above, they are great this season. Dad and I have been to two games so far this season, and are going to the game in SF tomorrow night vs. the Padres. Timmy is pitching and I am so excited to see him again. Plus Aaron and Franny and Randy Winn, and the Panda! Ahh, my Pablo. We're so voting the boy in to the ASG this year dang it. We SF fans are voting for Sandoval, and Ian Kinsler of the Rangers for the AL. Heh. But yay for games. This will be another good time in San Francisco! Dad and I are leaving around noon and driving up to my beloved ballpark. I get to squee at the Timmy again. Meep.

Watched bits and pieces of the MJ memorial yesterday. John Mayer was brilliant as always, and Michael's gorgeous little daughter just broke my heart. Such a brave girl. I so wanted to just hug her! But overall, just kind of a sad event. I hope he's finally at peace.

Keith Urban concert in just over a week! So psyched to see him and Sugarland. I can't wait to hear "'Til Summer Comes Around" live. Gah! Excited for my fourth KU show.

Writing is fantastic. I'm up about 6,000 words for the year so far and it's kind of nice to feel accomplished. I have, however, slacked off on the novel. Sigh. It's so frustrating to be so easily distracted by the shiny, pretty things. (read: Chris Pine and Zach Quinto and various other shiny things!). But I seriously am vowing to get back into my story. I've revamped my cast list just a tad (damn you, Pine! Haha) and perhaps have a fresh mindset on a few things. Perhaps I did need the time away to revamp again. But I ahve to work more on it, or I'll never feel like I've accomplished what I was hoping to with this year-long writing challenge.

Randomly--I need a new moodtheme. I need to hunt down a Star Trek one, seriously.

Off to be relatively productive--and pack my bag to take to the house tomorrow. Must find all my orange and black gear. My jersey, my Timmy shirt (which I now want an Aaron Rowand one too!), my SF sweatshirt, and my self-knit scarf. Also need to paint my nails orange like I do for every game we go to.

Good night!

You'll have to email me to let me know what's going on on the work front! I assume you've heard more since the last time we talked about it? I'm sending good vibes that it'll all be for the best!

Have fun in SF!
