this is the storm before the calm...

If I had enough energy to rant about freakin' crazy liars who lie, I would. But I don't. All I can say is that karma is going to hit someone hard soon, and it's going to be immensely ugly. And I'm going to laugh. A lot. Is it September yet?

Anyway. Just signed up for the June round at fic_variations, and look forward to channeling my muse this month for my NCIS claim. I'm going to write three Tony/Hannah fics this month, dang it. I need to establish my Reasons Why 'verse a bit more. I rather like the prompt too, but I'm going to need to look up all the definitions I can for it. I have obne plot already, but I need two more. Heh. I almost signed up with another claim too, but maybe I'll play with that one for July. We'll see. I need to play with pdficchallenge too, and come up with some new ideas and prompts there too. Maybe something during this long summer hiatus!

Am addicted to music right now. The mom bought The Village Sessions by John Mayer on iTunes last week and it so amazing. He's absolutely brilliant. 10 days until the concert! Eeee! Which means 17 days until Keith Urban! Am also addicted to the new Maroon 5 album, It Won't Be Soon Before Long. Awesome, awesome CD. Adam and the guys sound fantastic and the songs are excellent. Definitely my favorite album right now.

Work is--work. I'm going to be in San Jose in a week or so with Rach to help run an event at another store, and then in two weeks or so, we'll be headed back up there for a meeting. She's going to persuade them to let me come along, even if I am not officially promoted by then, because it's for a new clocking system that I'll need to be proficient in in order to train my incoming staff on it as well! So yeah, doing some traveling this month, with some other good things hopefully happening in June as well.

Randomly, I have discovered an odd thing for index cards. I have sticky ones, lines ones, blank ones, colored ones, etc. It's very odd. I have no idea what I am going to do with them all, but hey. I have them if I need them. Heh.

Have tomorrow off, thank goodness. The parents and I are going to go see PotC 3, woohoo! Plus, I'm sitting down and writing. Seriously. I have to.

I go to bed now. Am exhausted from the weird that was the last two days.
