she laid her heart and soul right in your hands..."

Ahh, Keith. I could listen to this song for freakin' days. But anyway. Only 74 days until the "Love, Pain, and the whole crazy World Tour" comes to Fresno! Woo! Which also means only 67 days until the Continuum Summer Tour arrives. Mayer! And Jane and I see Josh Groban on Wednesday! And according to co-worker Tonya, we must have cameras ready. Squee!

It's been a weird couple of weeks. A lot of--stuff going on. My grandmother (my dad's mom) passed away last Friday. And I'm still not sure how I feel about it all. I'm sad, and yet, it's mostly for my dad. My feelings are very conflicted about it all, and I don't really know how I feel, and it's been a week already. I suppose this is me dealing with it all in my own way. It's kind of a complicated situation. Sigh. But--yeah. She's not suffering anymore, and really, that is the most important thing.

Work is work. It's been an odd business week again. We're doing well, though, so I can't complain too much. We might bonus this month, which would rock. But work is going okay. June and September seriously can't come fast enough, and I'm anxious to learn if the person I'd really like to have as my senior assistant manager passed the assessment. If she did, I will be ecstatic. There's a lot of training and such headed my way, and I look forward to it. Rach says we have to start looking for a staff for me already and I was all "...". Hahaha. I'm way more nervous that I apparently had let on. Meep. But it will all be okay. It will.

On the writing front, [livejournal.com profile] brightillusions and I have resurrected [livejournal.com profile] pdficchallenge. I have to come up with April's prompt, and I think I know what I am going to post tomorrow, as it's something that I've been dying to do and I think I could write at least three fics to go with it. Heh. But I've really gotten back into the swing of weekly writing again, and writing Penguins last week for the Tuxedo prompt in the CSI: NY fandom renewed my love. Hee. Jane and I have some plans for the community, I think, and if anyone is interesting in joining and writing for the various procedural drama show fandoms, please do! We have fun, dang it. ;)

Off for now, I suppose. Veronica (co-worker) lent me "Pretty In Pink" on DVD, so I think I'll curl up on my living room floor and watch. Sat and watched the OSU/Georgetown game earlier. Go Buckeyes!! Woo! Tony would be immensely proud. Hee.

Good night.
