Impressive.
Oct. 28th, 2005 09:06 pmSo I'm still beyond ecstatic about my floor seat to Keith Urban. Eeee! So excited. Other concert coming up is Rob Thomas on November 12th, which I am also excited for. I am so in love with "This Is How a Heart Breaks", it's not even funny.
Work was okay today. Glad the day is over, though. The parents and I met up for pizza after work, and the mom got me this gorgeous red leather case for my iPod, Horatio. Or H for short, naturally. It's a beautiful case, with a little rhinestone heart charm dangling from it. Hee. After pizza, I went over to Borders and made out like a bandit. Found the new CSI novel, a new issue of Simple Scrapbooks, and the Firefly complete series on DVD. The Firefly DVDs were only $39.99. I was all..."score!" Hee. So now I'm currently getting a nice fix of Nathan Fillion and Sean Maher, and all is good.
Had Thursday off, and while I got my Keith tickets, Mom and I also went to see Elizabethtown. Such a good movie. Orlando Bloom is darling, and he was wonderful in the film. I loved Claire's journal for Drew. It was just perfect.
In other news, I'm leaving for LA on Tuesday afternoon. I'm going to be working at the Montclair Plaza Ann Taylor Loft for three days, covering as a manager in their store. I was specifially requested by our regional vice president to go and help them. Our DM told me this morning that out RVP likes me a lot and very much wanted me especially to go and help this store. So naturally, I'm going. I fly out on Tuesday and fly back Friday, and I'm nervous, but excited too.
LOVE the new CSI: Miami blog that went up. So cool.
Bed soon, methinks. Will curl up with my new CSI novel and read and be content. Oh, and this is a Jesse Spence GIP as well. Hee.
Good night.
