almosthonest: (smile in your heart [v])
Good times. I love being able to be out at the parents' house, watching the Giants/Dodgers game on tv. Totally loved Kim Locke singing the National Anthem too. She was awesome. And hey Jay? Weaver still doesn't look any better than he used to, trimmed hair or not. Yeesh. (edit: okay, okay, a clarification after a phone call: Weaver is "slightly less homeless looking" and "less greasy". Forgive me.) Hee. Loved talking to you last week, by the way. ;)

My dogs are sitting at my feet, sound asleep. I miss them when I am at home in Fresno. Dawson is snoring, I might add. Silly dog.

Work still rules my life. Had to be at a meeting 7-9 am today, and had the rest of today off. Yay. Came to the house to do laundry and have dinner with the dad. I think mom will be back this evening too. Work tomorrow 8-2, and get my assessment/review and my raise. It'll be nice to see Rachael tomorrow as well. Have Thursday off, so I hope to get to spend time with the mom or something. I really should go shoe shopping, but who knows if I will be motivated enough to do so.

Oh no you didn't, Weaver. Jerk. Don't you go hitting people now. Especially not Durham. Gah. Sonofa...

Moving on. Just relaxing at the house today with the dogs and cat, watching baseball. Wonderful times. Go Giants.

Ordered three Moleskine Cahier notebooks this morning from eBay. I really wanted the brown paper-ish covered, squared paper ones, so I sucked it up and bought them online. I'm hoping to get those next week soemtime, along with the Darren Hayes CD I won a week and a half ago. I hope that one shows up soon, because I am starting to get a bit worried about it not showing up.

Dude. How cool is Torrealba for helping up the Dodger 1st baseman? Love that man. But I still want Tiny back on the team. Sob. Woo. Only the 1st inning and it's already 1-0 SF! Yay.

Going now. Hope everyone has a good day!

Um. Make that 2-0 SF. Hahahaha. And 30 seconds later, 3-0 SF. HA!

Edit: Not two minutes after posting, it's 5-0 SF. Am dying of laughter. This is fabulous!
