Ahh. Troy.

Right, so the parents and I went to see Troy today. Gah. What a wonderful movie. I loved hearing my Sean's voice right off the bat. Gorgeous narrative voice, he has. I even told Vero that I would recognize that beautiful voice, accent, and inflections anywhere. Hee. He was a wonderful Odysseus. I adored him. And I noticed how obvious his scar was. It was rather amusing. Gorgeous old git. Eric Bana was wonderful as Hector. Orlando was terrific as Paris, even though his character was so cowardly. He was beautiful, and he loved Helen so much. And for the first time in my life, I will say that Brad Pitt is freakin' hot. Oh that body. Um. Guh. But his Achilles was brilliant.

Overall, I loved the film. I cried for Hector, and I cried during Josh's "Remember" during the credits. Ahh. I am so glad I finally got to see the movie.

On Friday, I got a wonderful package from my dear Gretchen. Inside was a fantastic photo frame with a signable mat on it. G, thank you so much. You have no idea how much it meant to me. *hugs* It's lovely, and I definitely plan to use it and put it up. Thank you. Mwah.

Am calling the dental surgeon tomorrow morning to get an appointment to get my three remaining wisdom teeth removed. I am trying to get my appointment for right after I get back from Canada so I can go right back from my recovery to my training for my new position at work. So here's hoping I can get the appt. for the 17th, so I can go in, get doped up on anesthetic, and then go home and sleep off it AND the jet lag. Bwah!

I leave in a week! Eee! So excited. I have my list all ready to go for packing. I really only need a few things. Will go this week and get another pair of jeans, just in case. Then I just need a few cosmetic things and such. Heh. Silly me.

Things are just...good right now. Am going to work on cleaning my room when I get up in the morning, get this place clean before I go. Am going to work on a letter to bluej5, and I'm going to work some more on a couple of projects. Heh. Work tomorrow from 7-10 pm. Whee.
