Sitting in my living room with Aaron the Acer and I finally found a wireless connection! Woohoo! Am continuing on my SportsNight Renaissance and am watching "The Quality of Mercy at 29K". One of my favorite, favorite eps, and now that I work for a company that sponsors several of the world's best climbers, it means a lot more. I am fairly sure this ep is based off of Ed Viesturs and Peter and Jim Whittaker. So wonderful. Lovelovelove it! Yay for Everest climbs!!

Am on a hunt for a new desktop computer. Leo is finally starting to die out, I'm afraid. The mom and I scoped out Best Buy and I think I found a good deal, but I'm going to shop a bit more before I go ahead and buy the sucker. Sad thing is that I am already thinking of names for it. Haha. I'm so lame.

Am also thinking about a new car. Sam the Saturn is six years old, and while he only has 48000 miles on it, I'd so like to have something cute and sporty. I keep saying that if I could find a Saturn Sky for a decent price and payment, I'd take it in a heartbeat. We shall see what happens before Saturn goes obselete. Heh.

Totally being obsessive with taking echinacea and using hand sanitizer with this whole H1N1 thing. Eep. Lord knows I don't need to get sick, but I feel so sorry for those who have had it or are getting it. Yikes. I think, however, my allergies are raging again, which sucks.

The novel writing muse is attempting to play tonight--something I am rather grateful for. I keep coming up with bits and pieces in my head and yet I can't seem to put them together. Sigh. This will happen, dang it. Grr.

Bed soon. Work at 8 am.

Good night!

The past few days have been interesting to say the least. I think I mentioned it before, but my laptop was essentially dying a slow, evil death. So I sucked it upo and bought myself an shiny new Gateway desktop computer yesterday morning. I used my $200 gift card that I won at work a few months ago, and I really only spent $650 out of my own pocket. And that includes the $150 I spent having freakin' Best Buy install my anti-virus software and crap.

Needless to dsay, I had many a complication with this thing in the past day or so and my awesome mother has helped me get everything back to normal. We've taken it in to the Geek Squad at Best Buy twice today, and now I finally have my very slow internet connection back, and all is complete. Heh.

Now, the dang thing needs a name. Right now, I'm leaning toward Leo. But Chase is right behind that, so we'll see what wins out in the long run. Heck, it may end up being Flack. Ahaha. That'd be amusing.

Also bought S2 of House on DVD. Gah, this season was so awesome. Autopsy is still my favorite, but No Reason is right up there. The blooper reel is freakin' awesome, and the Valley Girl stuff with Lisa Edelstein and Jennifer Morrison cracked me up. Like, totally. Gah.

This week has been a bit stressful at work, and yet, oddly enough, is ending up not quite so bad. I'm hoping things muight get even, oh, I don't know, better in the next few weeks, depending on what happens. Snerk.

Oh, it's so nice to not have my screen scrolling down to the bottom every five seconds. Sigh, happy now.

It'll be a bit longer before I get anything like AIM or MSN Messenger back up and running. AT&T Yahoo internet software corrupted my computer when I downloaded it last night, so I'm currently using Internet Explorer. I kind of miss Yahoo!Messenger and such, but oh well. I'm attempting to reload AIM and see if Messenger will cooperate with me using my old MSN email address. We shall see.

Anyway. Yeah. This new toy rocks my socks and I can once again start writing. Whee! Sam still lives in my head, the baseball!AU fic is in my brain all the time now, and Horatio wants some love. I'm a bit vexed at the moment, I have to say.

Bed soon, I suppose. Good night!
