Lalala...GIP.

I couldn't help it. Thank goodness for the blessed website that is csi-caps.com. Because amazing caps from "Open Water" are already posted. Sigh. Who was I to resist my favorite pairing? (besides Danny/Lindsay, of course...or even Lindsay/Ryan, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] goddess_loki).

House was awesome tonight. I love Chase, I really do. I'm going to miss tomorrow's ep, so if anyone can recap for me, I'd adore you.

Still watching my S3 Gilmore Girls DVDs. I still heart Luke to pieces. I want a Luke of my own. Eep.

Today has been---long. Work was long. And I'm basically store manager until next Wednesday. Whee! Excited, but stressed a bit. We'll see. The mom and I went to dinner tonight, and I walked around the grocery store with her. Ended up with two yogurts, a bottle of chocolate milk, and a scrapbooking magazine. Good times.

Bed now with my iPod and my magazine. I'm so--worn out, I guess. I want to write, but the muse isn't very nice tonight. Horatio is apparently not in the mood to amuse me. Or something.

Good night.

Eee!

I am in love with this song. I love the version with Jennifer Nettles, of course, because she has an incredible, amazing voice. BUt some country station in Texas got ahold of the original recorded version of the song, with had Keith Urban as the duet partner. It would have made it on the album, but due to record label controversy (namely Keith's label, Capitol), it got scrapped. But god, this version is amazing. I hjave a heck of a time picking out who is who singing at any given time. It's weird. It's only the little bit of a lisp that Keith has that I can tell who it is singing. He's so fabulous.

Awesome, awesome version. Keith sounds awesome with Jon and geez, I wish this version had worked out. Sob. Plus, the lyrics are slightly different, which rocks.

Am exhausted from the day at work. People were freakin' vultures. Eep. Am also tired from the birthday party I went to last night (Friday) for my niece Rylie's first birthday. That little munchkin gets more gorgeous everytime I see her. I had a good time.

Oh, and ramdomly? I am so cursing Memphis' basketball team for losing today. They made my NCAA brackets crash and burn. *has a SportsNight moment and makes sound* Gah, I'm pretty much out of the tournament now, being that I'd picked them to be my 2006 National Champion. But I digress, and my father will beat me this year. Hmph. Heh.

Bed now. Going to dream of this fantastic song. Must attempt to download this mp3 the next time I'm on the mom's DSL. Because this WILL blast in my car at some point very soon.

This is also a Danny Messer icon post. I made a Flack and a Danny/Flack icon today too, but it would take efforting to post them in here, so I'll GIP them sometime soon.

Good night!

A smiley redhead is always good.

Yeah, so GIP. My handsome Horatio from Monday night's episode "Silencer".

I've got nothing else. Besides that my hands are freezing right now. Yeesh.

lalalala, GIP.

I couldn't resist a GIP for this lovely man. The CSI: Miami/CSI: New York crossover has been awesome so far with last night's "Felony Flight", and tomorrow night's conclusion, "Manhattan Manhunt", is going to be terrific. I love the Horatio. Seriously. But next week's ep, "Nailed"? May completely kill me. I will not be coherent for days following next Monday, methinks.

Work was good today. DM came to visit, and things went well. Am pleased.

Day off tomorrow. Hooray. Need sleep. I also really want to go to Target to find the new Montgomery Gentry CD.

Rob Thomas concert in four days! Whee! Am terribly excited.

House in 30 minutes. Yay for snarky!House and the Ducklings. Because I cannot resist Chase. Heh.

Off to be productive? Nah, not really. Heh. I should write, because my novel characters have been invading my brain.

Good night.

Heh.

It's been a good few days. Work is good. Hectic, but good. My status change is official, as is my raise, so I'm thrilled. I actually was a geek and printed the front page of the computer system we use at the store because it now lists my new job title. I plan to use it in a scrapbook page somewhere along the line.

Dad and I went to the Fresno State football game on Saturday night, thanks to a co worker (Kathryn), who gave us tickets that she wasn't going to use. So Dad and I went to the season opener at Bulldog Stadium, and we watched them kick Weber State's collective butts 55-17. Heh. It was a fabulous game and Dad and I had a lot of fun.

Also worked this weekend, which was good. Slow business overall, and yet people WERE coming in and spending money. Our savings cards went into effect today, so methinks business shall be booming this week. I hope so, anyway.

Season 2 of House starts tomorrow night, hooray! CBS is also shoing the S2 finale of CSI: Miami ("10-7") tonight, so I can see that one before S3 starts next Monday (eee! so excited!). They're also showing CSI's S5 finale ("Grave Danger") on Thursday night, so lord knows I'll sit on my couch clutching my pillow and bawling though that one. CSI premiere is next Thursday and I bargained my way into getting the morning shift. Heh. I cannot wait for these premieres.

Have started really scrapbooking again. I finally started a book for myself, and it excites me. I even have pages planned out about my beloved Giants and my CSI teams (because who am I to resist seeing David, Billy, Jon, Adam, George, and Eric all one one page?). I just have to really find the time to settle in and do pages in my pretty maroon book.

Out at the parents house today, playing with my dogs and such, both of whom are sleeping at my feet asd I sit here in front of my mom's computer.

I've been reading a lot more lately. My coworker and friend Leslie lent me all for Shopaholic books and I've been enjoying those. Working in clothing retail makes them a whole lot funnier.

Am off to---kick back some more and watch the CSI:M finale tonight? Who knows. Working tomorrow and Wednesday, then have Thursday off. Woo!

This entry is also a GIP, with one of two icons I saved at the ONN community made by the brilliant [livejournal.com profile] solamentenic. I couldn't resist Greg and his girls. Hee.
