Only 12 minutes in and CSI: Miami has already made me cry. The red-haired boyfriend killed me. Killed me, I say. I love and adore him. DC did an amazing job with that opening sequence. Sigh.

And on an amazingly happy note, the first team of climbers climbing Mt. Everest made it to the summit within the last hour and a half. They are literally on top of the world. This is such awesome news, and I am so so proud to have been following this incredible journey. I'm in tears watching the YouTube clip. So proud.

Oy. Back to the red-haired boyfriend. He better not make me cry more. Heh.

Eeee! YAY!

First off, karma is a real you-know-what, and I am still laughing. And going to a very hot, fire-y place, but still. I'm laughing.

Second, the company I work for is a sponsor of, and supplier of gear/clothing for a current summit of Mount Everest. We are all following the First Ascent Blog daily, watching our teams make their way up the mountain. It's so cool and exciting.

It's been a busy couple of weeks. Our store manager has been on vacation in Singapore, and our asst. manager and myself have been running the place. Things went very, very well, and we got some praise from our DD. Color us pleased. But business has been really good, and things are plugging along. We're in the middle of floorset right now, and after work last night, a couple of us went out for pancakes. Haha. It was nice being with some friends and just kind of hanging out.

Work tonight, and then have the next two days off, plus this weekend off. Yay! I'm going to refocus on my knitting. My looms have been badly neglected this past week. I'm working on a blue blanket for my mom and the spare bedroom at the house. It's turning out well so far, and I've also made three scarves (blue, turquoise, and hot pink). I plan on starting a long yellow one this week. I've got yarn galore now, and it's so much fun. I love it.

My baseball season is rocking right along. My Timmy is amazing again this season, and Zito has been fantastic the last two starts. Randy got his 297th win the other night, and the people went crazy! It's awesome to see the orange and black support for Johnson, now that's he's one of us. I am addicted to reading his Twitter every day. Hee. I miss Brian Wilson's, though--stupid reporters trying to cause crap. B's Twitter was funny. Bastards. Hmph. My Giants are not completely sucking, and I am excited. It WILL be a good season. Timmy just makes me so darn proud to be a fan, let me tell you. So adorable. My complete and utter baseball crush. There's also Jack, but he's now in Philly, and that makes me sad. But I still love him to pieces, and I miss him in our clubhouse. =(

Hit my word count for the fourth month in a row. I'm so happy writing this year. I wrote a little bit of Tony/Hannah yesterday--something I hadn't done in awhile. It was nice to go back to an old favorite. The novel is still going well, but I admit to slacking off on it the last couple of weeks. To be honest, I've been puttering on baseball fic, much to my chagrin.

I'm afraid I may be leaning toward starting up a Twitter account. If only to follow Zito and John Mayer. Heh. We shall see. It'll also depend on whether I decide to swap my phone out for a Blackberry with AT&T, or switch to Sprint and get an awesome other phone through my dad's school. I'm not sure yet. I'd get an iPhone, but I already have my iPod Touch, and what's the point in basically having two of the same device?!

Finished the new Nora Roberts book the other day. It's going to be a fantastic set of four stories. Vision in White was wonderful, and I can't wait for the next three books. I love new stories.

Things are--good right now. Am happy. And now, off to take a shower. The boss (heh) called and asking if I could come in early and be on a conference call with her. We're in the middle of transitioning to a new computer system and everyone but me is confused by it. I've kind of been put in charge of the teaching of said system, and this conference call should give me some more info to pass on. Woohoo.

Hope you all have a good Monday!

Awesome.
